Fall And Its Meaning Around The World

Meta: Check what fall brings with it to all places throughout the world.

Fall in the United States means many things, the return of colder weather, the end of the long summer holidays and a return to school and routines. Fall means pancakes with lashings of syrup, gold leaves decorating the streets, the return of Labor Day and the approach of other holidays such as Halloween and Thanksgiving.

However, Autumn means many things throughout the seven continents. Autumn represents a time to gather the harvest and give thanks for all that they have received and remember those who have passed on before them. Here is a list of just some of the many festivals and events that fall brings throughout the world.

Europe

Entrenennen is the annual rubber duck race within Germany in October every year. 7000 rubber ducks are set within the river Neckar to flash down the river. Oktoberfest in Germanyhardly needs an explanation. The world famous beer fest takes place in Munich, Bavaria each year from September to October and has many parades, fairground attractions and of course, copious amounts of beer tents.
