However there are a couple more unique traditions for the day of love than merely chocolates and flowers, the area within the Indre is home to a village known as the Village of St. Valentin which attracts many romantics each year eager to celebrate the 14^th of February’s special history and purpose. During this particular time of the year, the whole town becomes bedecked with flowers of all kinds, but mainly red roses. In addition, many also choose to bask in the love of this day and take the next step in their lives by tying the knot.
